For Every Existential Crisis There Is A Cure...

Oh well. What is my cure for an existential crisis (?) (see previous 2 posts)"a moment at which an individual questions if their life has meaning, purpose, or value.[1] It may be commonly, but not necessarily, tied to depression or inevitably negative speculations on purpose in life. (e.g., "if one day I will be forgotten, what is the point of all of my work?") This issue of the meaning and purpose of human existence is a major focus of the philosophical tradition of existentialism."

A long restful sleep, a freshly-brewed pot of coffee; direct fair trade, level ground, organic, coffee beans from Peru. Life, I think it needs no bigger purpose, value or meaning, except for the living of it. Life is good. That is enough.

The Human Beings kind of fuck things up for themselves. They are messed up in the head. There is all that Fear, Loathing, Doubt, Hatred, Indecision, Misunderstanding, Corruption, Bad Acts, Willful Ignorance, Blind Prejudice, Deep Racism, Sexism, Xenophobia, Homophobia, Self-Hatred, Death Wishes, Nihilism.

It's easy to forget, and to get swamped and overwhelmed with the muck. But it's also easy to take a deep breath, find a moment of silence, open your heart and head. There is Beauty, Grace, Forgiveness, Good Feeling, Connectedness, Holiness, Transcendence, Love, Fraternity, Liberty, Equality. Good thoughts. Positive Vibes. A better day. A better world.

You must believe...
