Yes. Off the Rails...

Off the rails. Right?! It does seem like the late-stage capitalism being played out here in USA has taken a distinctly silly turn. We are all so captivated and hynotized by spectacle, the river of dollars, big talk, overstuffed egos, a weirdly distracting 24/7 smart-phone obession. Everything, and everyone, is now is an app. It is all hustle, dazzle, spectacle. The Big Never-Stopping for a Breath or a Thought Come-on. The unrealness of it all is all so real. Best way to experience this idiocy is to turn on your TV, dial in one of the major (dying) network channels, keep the sound on mute, and take a dip into the the razzlling, dazzling, human vanity on steroids, or is it ketamine, or, some other chemical-cocktail, or maybe you know it's just plain over-amped, over-juiced, hubris, arrogance, assholish-ness? There is a glitzy, flashy, hollowness, and soul-dead-ness, at the heart of all of this mind-numbing hurly-burly. WTF have the Tricky Monkeys  done to themselves now?!
