Bold, Decisive & Dumb...

I think we are entering an era of "unintended consequences." There is the heavy hand of hubris, arrogance & ignorance, armed with a clumsy axe, wielded in the public square; bold, decisive, and quite stupid actions, and then, there are the inevitable counter-actions, and re-actions, some anticipated, and some not. I think we are soon to be engulfed in the coming "some not," phase of things; making things, breaking things, unleashing forces beyond anyone's control. Humans, not as smart as they think they are. There are lessons about this subject to be found throughout history. You wonder, does anyone read or pay attention to history any more? Bold, decisive & dumb.
