When we hear about record profits, ($6.6 billion dollar profit for the 3rd quarter of 2024), for this particular insurance company, we are smart enough to know that they make their money by denying benefits to sick and often dying patients. Not a very admirable way to make a living. It's wild how sometimes pop culture informs the wider world.
