Folk #1: Brilliant insight from Emptywheel: "Corruption is a Process..." This Trump character is corruption personified. Anyone who engages with him, works for him, interacts with him, is stained, diminished, & corrupted too. There is no easy way to deal with him. Shine the Light of Truth. Stand Apart. Call him out. Shun, Banish, & Imprison him? Anything short of that risks contamination. Any society, any political party, any culture, or country, that embraces or tolerates the man is fatally corrupted too. We are living in deep corruption now. Sometimes you want to laugh, but it's not really funny, or cry, but tears have no agency. This is a deadly game we are playing. So, so ugly. If there is a change of course, starting with the Mid-term elections, we will need a total cleanse & reboot. A Truth & Reconciliation Committee devoted to bringing the corruption to an end, and a spiky, gnarly righteous, Justice for all.
