Election Day 2016. The plump, gaseous, noxious, dirigible, known as "Trump," will meet it's spiky pole (poll!) and finally, mercifully, crash and burn! Ding Dong!
"If the fool would persist in his folly, he would become wise."
William Blake: Proverbs of Hell
Yes, well, this is advice from the Devil! Some times the fool should know when to stand down. There is no wisdom to be had for Trump. He has always been on a fool's errand, fueled by ignorance and hate.
And hate breeds hate. Hate x Hate = Hate. What was Trump's "closing argument?" "The World Hates Us!" He was talking about the world hating the U.S. but really isn't it a perfect motto for his whole campaign? He hates us, we hate him, he appeals to those who hate and magnifies and encourages their hate!
Karma. Gravity. The harder they come, the harder they fall.
The losing dirigible will end up alone. A loser. Forever. A definitive, unequivocal loser. As a human you might have some sympathy for another human so clearly incapable of sympathy and compassion for others.
You might, almost, have sympathy. But really you understand sometimes people get what they deserve. They say it has been a difficult last few days in the Further-Bunker, "An Anxious Nominee Seeks Assurance," sleepless nights, brooding over slights, vows of revenge, no more late-night Twitter storms - they are babying the big, whiny bully. He's a mean cry-baby.
It's time to move on, leave that dark, twisted soul to stew in his own little hell. Tonight's the night!
