Disintegration of the Grand Conservative Hallucination!

Could it be that while the GOP Convention is rolling out in Cleveland, the man who constructed the great Conservative Propaganda Noise Machine, Roger Ailes, is going down for the count?! That would be just the sweetest news. And maybe a sign of things to come.

Seems the chickens really have come home to roost.  And maybe this GOP insanity in Cleveland is coming to it's crashing apotheosis? The Short-Fingered Vulgarian gets nominated and then goes down to a landslide loss of epic proportions in November? 

What little I heard from the convention last night, via the radio, seemed like absolute madness. Total idiocy. People completely disconnected from reality. It's Fox TV News Land. A wholly constructed dystopia. It has it's followers, it's true believers - people hyped on fear & racism and Hillary hate.

But maybe, just maybe, we are not watching the beginnings of a real political movement, we are watching the disintegration of a grand, Conservative hallucination.
