It isn't pretty. Or helpful. And you do start to worry about your fellow Americans.
The best thing I heard this week came from a Pastor who was marching in Dallas. "Violence begets violence." Nothing good comes from it. Just dead people. Sadness. Tragedy. Broken hearts and broken families.
It's a good time to pull back. Take a breath. Reflect. Figure out how we can all pull together. Find our connection to each other as human beings. Get down to basic principles...
