That's 2025 so far. And the forecast is decidedly "even shittier."
We certainly have the perfect President and adminstration for this era. We have chosen wisely. Chaos Agents. Corruption, dislocation, ignorance, blind, inhumane, cruel, Nazi, Fascist. All alive in the realm at the moment. My mood-ring predicts bad trips for everyone. Fuck.
Lately, I turn away from the things of this world. I have been listening to instrumental music. Sinking into a land of vibration. A turning away from words too, trying to evade thought, and sinking into pure sound. It is helpful. A healing ritual. I put my headphones on and immerse myself in a universe of alternate vibes.
Listening to great music from Kamasi Washington, Mono, Mogwai, & The Color of Cyan. There is everything to be found in these artists and their music. Otherwordly, and at the same time firmly reflecting our world too. There's thunder & lightening. Silence & whispers. Beauty and mayhem. Harmony, melody, furious rhythm.
Captivating. Enthralling. Everything. Highly Recommended. The antidote to the madness. No doubt.
