Silent Simplicity...

Folk #1: Yesterday was all about being fully present, without worry, doubt, anxiety. Everything opened up and fell away. The day was oh, so pleasant. Sunny. Warm temps. Blue sky. The lakefront was alive with activity. Folks were on the beach. A free day. My partner & I made all our appointed rounds, and then spent a few hours sitting on a bench facing the lake, & the lakefront path, walkers, joggers, skaters, bikers flying past. Long, rambling conversation, & a lot of silent witnessing. It was glorious. Moments of simple euphoria. We didn't dwell on anything. We floated, flowed, lived fully in the moment to moment. We laughed, and marvelled at the scene. "This is it." A perfect afternoon. Consciousness expanding. Everything perfect, and in it's right place. Funny. You sometimes think the great moments will come like a lightening bolt of insight, but actually the feeling of perfection & euphoria just sort of sneaks up, decends upon you, with a silent simplicity.
