Folk #1: Some things we've learned recently. The Serious People aren't very Serious, the Smart People aren't very Smart, & the Dumb People are really, really Dumb. All this desperate & idiotic flailing & failing is totally predictable & understandable. Humans really do seem to have a deep, in the bone, dogged capacity to hold onto a loud, stubborn, furiously-blind Stupidity in the face of any Truth or Reality. It is quite impressive.
