Acts of Psychosis...

Yes. Some times something happens and there's really nothing to say. That's how I feel this morning. There's a tremendous sadness hanging over me. A tremendous sadness for us all.

I think Kevin Drum gets it right: "Terrorism and Lunacy are not the same thing." Often we are talking about an act of "psychosis" when we are describing acts of terror - delusions, paranoia, mental disorders, irrational hatred.

In our society we must add in the easy access to weapons designed to kill many people very quickly. It is a bad and deadly combo.

And as B. Obama tells it "inaction in the face of mass shootings is also a political act."
