"It's All Freaking, Incredibly Glorious, Sometimes Democracy ROCKS!"

Folk #1: Massive blowout. A total ass-whipping. A landslide for the Democrats across the USA. A major rejection of Trump, MAGA, and the Republicans. Glorious. The voting machines worked fine. The common folks came out to render their verdict on the B.S. Turns out most of us hated what Trump has been doing to our country over these last two very painful years.

I am a long-time "political junkie" over here. When I was a wee lad, it was Hunter S. Thomspon, writing about the dark days of Nixon, who hooked me on the stuff. Often I was mainlining really nasty stuff. I have learned Democracy is messy, and sometimes you win, and sometimes don't. Sometimes it's a grind, and it's always a battle.

Then, well, once in a great while, it's all freaking, incredibly glorious & gratifying. I actually hinted 2 days ago that I thought a historic blowout was coming. And yes, it happened. We are euphoric & celebrating over here in our Progressive Blue Bubble. Awesome high this a.m. Texas, Maine, Kansas, South Carloina, Georgia, Iowa, Michigan, Ohio, went Blue? I mean, Holy Shite! Democracy sometimes magnificently ROCKS!
