Rooting Against Nonsense & Insanity...

Folk #1: "I'm a long-time, long-suffering Chicago Bears fan. So I know all about rooting for the losing team. Sure, there have been moments of glory, 1985 Superbowl Winners, but that just makes every season a bit more spicy. So, when I hunker down in the face of this anti-science, anti-reason, anti-logic and anti-truth, shite-storm unleashed by the current President and his boot-licking lackeys, and find myself rooting for the truth-tellers, well, I know it looks like a losing cause, but hope dies last, and I refuse to give up my my slender reed of hope lightly. So, yeah, rooting for Gravity, Truth, Logic, Reason, Science. I see Climate Change and Global Pandemics as major threats to the Human Species, and I throw my lot in with those still hanging onto the noble cause. We are swimming in lies and disinformation (monetized nonsense & insanity), promoted by the fossil fuel proponents and the anti-vaxxers; powerful, well-funded forces feeding us total bullshit every day. Flooded with Liars & Lies. We need some clear-headed thinking.
