A Club I Can Get Behind...

Ha. Ok. I am not a big "joiner." I like marching to my own drum. I am fine being on the margins. I like spending lots of time alone, listening to music, reading books, playing my guitar, writing songs. I don't like big crowds, except when I'm on stage as a performer. Which is an odd thing. Performing for lots of people, connecting via the vibes. That I can get behind.

My preferred club? Artist. I identify with creative people from all walks of life, all countries and cultures. 

But, now, I must admit that this new club & movement is right up my alley:

White Dudes for Kamala Harris! 

Yes. Of course. I mean, I wasn't on the Zoom call, but I am definitely there in spirit. We sent some $ to her campaign too. I definitely feel the surging momentum: Joy, Enthusiasm, Humor, Love. Of course all of her policies resonate with me, but it's also her vibe, her style, her being, that is so exciting and fun. I'm in, all in.

 

Yes. Supporting Kamala is a cool thing. A good thing. A necessary thing. Fun too. Let's save democracy, and let's all roll up our sleeves and work for a better day, and a better America.
