Someone you've known pretty much your whole life. They haven't seen you in awhile. And then they say to you: "You look good."
They say it with a little bit of "surprise" in their voice. What they are thinking, but don't say:
1. You look bad.
2. I'm surprised you are still alive.
3. What happened?
4. Oh my.
5. You don't look like you used to look.
6. You don't look as bad as I thought you'd look.
7. I wonder if I look as bad as that?
8. Rough life?
9. Yikes.
10. Who knew?
